The Club was saddened to hear of the death of Patsy O'Brien last Saturday, Patsy played for Rearcross
during the Western League era in the seventies, Patsy's affinity for Rearcross F.C. never dwindled and was
always keen to know how Rearcross were progressing, we extend our deepest sympathies to the O'Brien
family on his passing, a minutes silence was observed before last weekends' games as a mark of respect.

30th November 2002: Rearcross F.C. Dinner Dance was held in the Lakeside Hotel, the North Tipperary and District League was represented by Gerry & Mary Larkin. Oliver Kennedy was the recipient of the 'A' Team Player of the Year award for last season and was presented with the Liam Sheehy Memorial Cup by John Sheehy. The 'B' Team player of the Year Award for last season was won by Joey Ryan. A special merit award was presented to Davy Ryan Luke for his outstanding work and dedication to Rearcross F.C.
A great night's merriment and dancing was had to the music of Fantasy, the buses arrived back in Rearcross in the early hours of Sunday morning, our thanks to all for supporting the event.

the Waterford side will surely provide stiff opposition for the boys from Rea. This game is scheduled for September 22nd at Bolton F.C.s' grounds, the Club will be
organising a bus for this match, more details later.

FAI Summer School:
Summer School commences next Monday 19th August at 10-30AM, registration will take place between
9-45AM and 10-30AM, all outstanding monies to be paid before 10-30AM. The school is fully sold out and
unfortunately we cannot accomadate any extra participants as there is a limited supply of the special edition
FAI football kits. All participants are reminded that they cannot leave the camp for the duration of the day,
any infringement of this rule or any rules as stipulated by the coaches will result in the offending
participant(s) being expelled from the school.

The 'A' team will be managed for the coming season by Noel Deegan, Brendan O'Brien & Emmet Steed. The 'B' team management structure to be announced shortly.

Rearcross F.C are delighted to announce that we have been allocated a grant of €48,200 by Tipperary North Riding County Council, the allocation came from the Community, Sports & Cultural Grant's scheme and will be put towards our development costs at Rearcross.
